Indian Army JAG Entry 2026 Vacancy Details

The Indian Army has announced 10 combined vacancies for unmarried male and female candidates under the Judge Advocate General (JAG) Entry Scheme 125th Course.

The final selection of candidates depends on merit, SSB performance, medical fitness, and the number of available vacancies.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates applying for Indian Army JAG Entry 2026 must satisfy all eligibility conditions mentioned in the official notification before submitting the online application.

Educational Qualification

Applicants should possess:

  • LLB Degree (3-year or 5-year course) from a recognized university.

  • Minimum 55% aggregate marks in LLB.

  • Valid CLAT PG 2026 Score.

  • Eligible for registration with the Bar Council of India.

  • LLB degree should be recognized by the Bar Council of India.

Age Limit

Candidates must fulfill the following age criteria:

  • Minimum Age: 21 Years

  • Maximum Age: 27 Years

Candidates should have been born between 02 January 2000 and 01 January 2006 (both dates inclusive).

Salary

Candidates selected through Indian Army JAG Entry 2026 will receive an attractive salary package under the 7th CPC Pay Matrix.

During training at OTA Chennai, cadets receive a monthly stipend of ₹56,100. After successful commissioning as Lieutenant, officers receive salary under Level-10 Pay Matrix along with Military Service Pay and various allowances.
